All my life when someone has asked my name, it has been followed with a, “Oh!!! Like Hillary Clinton!” to which I have added “Almost, minus one L”. My dad’s name is Bill, so go figure. That was centerfold of many jokes growing up. This is a woman that I have been ‘compared’ to all my life. I never knew a thing about her, just that she was the First Lady, she was a Senator, and ran for the presidential ticket in ‘08. Today is her birthday, and I am happy to say that I am taking some time to research this great woman and the work she has done for not only our country, but for democracy and women’s rights throughout the world.
